Harrods Display

A bespoke installation for Silver Cross in Harrods

This display stand was created to showcase the Silver Cross Bespoke Balmoral, the world’s most expensive pram. This display was a one-off design and was placed in the nursery section of Harrods.

The installation featured a plinth, lectern with sales guide, information fin and wall graphics. As well as creating the designs for the elements I co-ordinated the production of the stands and booklet. This involved working with an exhibition design company, an artisan printer, and a specialist book binder. The result was a premium display stand that reflected the quality craftsmanship that went into the product.

The book was bound with the same leather as the pram hood and the chrome fastenings matched the body of the pram. It was created in a collaboration between an artisan craftsman and a specialist book binder. The title and logo were debossed into the leather with a silver metallic foil. The finished book took three weeks and £800 to produce. A small price to pay to sell a pram with a price tag of £40,000.
